Passionate about snowboarding would be an understatement, Daniel loved it and was on the slopes as often as possible.  He'd get off work and hit the road on the 80 mile trip to the mountains several times a week.  Several of his friends told me that they watched in wonder at how fast and fearless he was.  He would often go off course to challenge himself.
