was amazing. |

|
Auto
Racing ~ Being the
Grandson of an Auto Racing Champion means racing is in
your blood. Follow Daniel's journey to race tracks
in California and Arizona, along with sharing time
with his Grandfather and his race car. |
|
Shooting ~ From BB guns to
high powered rifles, Daniel loved to shoot. |
|
Brother
& Sister ~ The
love that Daniel and Chelle shared personified
the term "Brother and Sister." Yet, they were more
than just brother and sister, they were best
friends, soul mates. Daniel's eulogy summed it up
best..."They
were inseparable and some say even their hearts
beat in synch." |
|
Christmas
2003
~ A special Christmas for Daniel when he gets his first car. Priceless!!! |
|
Father
and Son ~
"The
relationship that personified love at its finest
was that between Daniel and his father. In the last
few years, Daniel and his dad transcended a
father-son relationship to become the best of
friends. They shared everything from road trips, to
confidences, watching "Two and a Half Men", to
eating Meat Lovers pepperoni thin crust
pizzas." (From
Daniel's Eulogy) |
|
"Daniel
and Lugar" ~ Daniel
loved his dog Lugar, a Giant Schnauzer, like a
brother. From the first hug, on Daniel's 13th
birthday, they were inseparable until the end.
UPDATE:
On October 2, 2011,
Lugar died unexpectedly at the age of eleven. While
Lugar's loyalty and devotion will be missed,
knowing that he is reunited with Daniel in Heaven
is comforting. I know that Lugar missed Daniel
deeply, so I'm sure their reunion was a sight to
behold. Rest in Peace
Lugar, June 2, 2000 - October 2,
2011 |

Daniel's
Friends ~ Friends
were very important to Daniel. They all knew that
no matter what happened Daniel would be there for
them, he always had their back, from Jake Montiel
to the hundreds who showed up to say their final
good byes. A special thanks to those of you who
continue to keep Daniel's memory alive, from
getting tattoo's in his honor to attending his
Birthday Anniversary dinners' at Bubba Gump's. |
|
Manhood...The final
years ~ After graduation, Daniel continued to grow in
dimensions, maturity and personality. Through
Junior College, working at Sport Chalet and
continuing with his single focus to join the US
Army. Only God knows the heights that Daniel
would have sored had his life not been cut short.
There is no doubt in my mind that he would have
surpassed my accomplishments. |
|
American Flag
~
On
August 25, 2008, members' of the Los Angeles County
Sheriff's Department, that I worked with, took it
upon themselves to honor Daniel's life with an

Cadets from the current class, an American flag was
raised over the Sheriff's STARS Center and Regional
