The Christmas of 2003 was special for
Daniel, but then all Christmas' were special to him. This one was
special because he got his first car, a 1991 Ford Explorer. Before he got the car, he had to work for it. There were a series of boxes all gift wrapped with a clue inside. He had to figure out the clue which led him to the next box and another clue. He used a computer, his sister Michelle and good old common sense to figure out each clue, that finally led to his surprise gift, his first car. The photo of Daniel sitting behind the wheel says it all. Priceless!!! He loved that car. |

 I remember that night like it was yesterday. Little did I know how that "dance" would end less than 5 years later. As the Garth Brooks songs says... "And now I'm glad I didn't know The way it all would end, the way it all would go, Our lives are better left to chance, I could have missed the pain But I'd have had to miss the dance." |
